There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
Thriving on the South Coast!
Our Thrive League students embarked on an unforgettable overnight excursion to Broulee on the beautiful NSW South Coast. The students had an amazing time exploring Mogo Zoo Wildlife Park, kayaking along the serene Tomaga River, and enjoying a scenic coastal walk through Murramarang National Park.
These experiences truly help our students grow, connect, and thrive!

Girls Can Too!
Our students had an amazing week exploring careers in Civil Construction, Tiling, Plumbing and Bricklaying through the Girls Can Too program.
This hands-on experience gave them the opportunity to try new skills, build confidence and explore careers in traditionally male-dominated industries.
Six of our Year 10 students had the incredible opportunity to read their own picture books live on the radio. Sharing their stories with confidence and creativity, they spoke beautifully and proudly represented our school to a wider audience.
Their voices, ideas and storytelling talents truly shone as they read their work aloud, showing great courage and enthusiasm. We are so proud of the way they embraced this opportunity and brought their stories to life.
Congratulations to our 3 outstanding 2025 HSC students whose amazing work has been selected for NEXT 2025!
NEXT 2025 celebrates the incredible creativity and talent of HSC Visual Arts students from schools across the Liverpool LGA. This event marks an important milestone in their artistic journeys, showcasing their dedication and passion.
Our Year 10 students attended the Fast Forward program at Western Sydney University Kingswood Campus!
Students experienced a day in university life by taking part in lectures and tutorials, while exploring study areas including business, engineering, psychology and sociology. It was a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, develop future-ready skills and discover possible pathways beyond high school.
Unveiling Our New School Mural!
We are excited to reveal a vibrant new mural painted by Mulga the Artist, featuring our school logos iconic central image of the platypus. This special artwork celebrates our unique indigenous local heritage, as platypuses were once believed to inhabit the creeks in the Lurnea area, flowing into the Georges River before the extensive housing developments. Our suburb name 'Lurnea' is also derived from an Aboriginal word meaning "resting place".
The mural beautifully reflects our school values of being respected, connected and safe, while honoring our strong and vibrant school community.
This amazing artwork brings our school history and spirit to life!
