Welcome to Lurnea High School.
Since 1965, our school has served a diverse, vibrant, dynamic and culturally rich community. Our school is situated on the traditional lands of the Cabrogal Clan of the Darug nation and we recognise our Aboriginal heritage by acknowledging the traditional custodians of the land on which the school sits and by paying respect to elders past, present and emerging.
Our school prides itself on providing a balanced and inclusive learning experience for all students with the full breadth of curriculum offerings and a wide variety of co-curricular experiences available. We have a dedicated and experienced staff, who in partnership with community stakeholders – students, parents and community partners – work to provide an holistic education for the ‘whole-child’.
2020 marks the beginning of my time as principal at Lurnea High School and I am very much looking forward to this next chapter in the history of the school and sharing the educational journey with you.
Kylie Landrigan, Principal.
